Why do I need a web site?

A well maintained web site will provide your clients & prospects with current, relevant information about the properties you are presenting, educate them about the services you provide, as well as provide them with self help information they need to successfully negotiate the sale or purchase or a property

Why do I need my own domain name?
Owning your own domain gives you control. You not only own the web site address (i.e. yourname.com) you also own all the email addresses (@yourname.com) If you change service providers or move your web site to another server your web site and email address stays the same. Owning your own domain name will usually result in a web site address that is shorter and easier to remember. Also your email address and web site address will be the same just put your first name & the "@:" sign in front of your domain name.
What on earth am I going to do with 50 Email boxes?

Do I have to pay extra when you upgrade the WAM Interface?
No. We are constantly upgrading the WAM Interface, adding new features and making improvements to give our clients easier access to more power and flexibilty. We are extremely responsive to requests for additional features and enhancements made by our clients. Ongoing upgrades are all free.
What about getting listed on the Search Engines?
When we build a web site we take special care to make the pages "search engine friendly" and we submit it to all of the major search engines. This however does not guarantee that you will get a top ranking. The "search engine war" is highly competitive and requires specialized and up-to-date knowledge in order to be consistently successful. If you are serious about having top search engine presence we recommend that you work with a company that specializes in this kind of work. We can refer you to specialists that we feel confident will give you good results.
How can I tell how much traffic my web site is getting?
When your site is hosted by RealWeb you get a detailed statistics package that will tell you how many hits your are getting, where they came from, what time of day your site was accessed, what search words were used to find you, what type of browser clients were using and more. If I want to leave my web site with the Internet Service Provider I am currently using can I still use the WAM Interface?
Yes. Some features such as email auto responders and site statistics are only available if we host your web site. However, your site can take advantage of the WAM Interface regardless of who is hosting it.
I have a good relationship with my current web designer and I want to keep using him/her. Can I still get the WAM Interface?

What effect does my domain name have on how easy it is to find my web site?
The short answer is - none. This is not to say that an easy to remember domain name is not useful just like a phone number that is easy to remember. But the search engines index your web site based on the content of it's pages. Having the right page titles, paragraph heading and meta tags is far more important in making your site easy to find using the search engines than the domain name.
Why should I look after my own web site?
The answer is simple - - - if a bit cliché." You get out what you put in." If you are going to go to the expense & trouble of having a web site you need to use it. Your web site can be a very effective marketing tool - We believe it can be "THE" most cost effective marketing tool you have next to your own sales ability.
